Our Story

Deeply Rooted Apparel was born to bridge creative expression with the desire to influence. Developed as a youth ministry, fashion was the tool used to connect with the youth.  Over time, as our product line expanded, so did our audience.

Gradually, our designs evolved to include real-world experiences that produced heartfelt sentiments uniquely expressed by different emotions such as humor, inspiration, encouragement, and healing. Our lighthearted form of expression became heavy in 2012 with the senseless murders of Trayvon Martin, Jordan Davis, Sandra Bland, Eric Garner, Freddie Gray, and dozens of others.  By adding empowering statements to uplift those who also may have felt demoralized and cast down by the apparent disregard for Black Life, designing became a form of self-care.

T-shirts are a staple in American Culture and we thrive on creating t-shirt designs with eye-catching, fashionable appeal.  Combining them with inspirational words and encouraging phrases has consistently been the focus since our inception. With Faith as our foundation, our goal is to offer products which evoke conversation and allow individuals the freedom to be vulnerable and express that vulnerability outwardly.
